The foundation for AB Autoukis was laid on 26 of October 1919 when the cabinet of ministers discussed the issue of "concentration of vehicles in one garage". The matter was resolved affirmatively under Prime Minister E. Galvanauskas presiding over the meeting. Later due to change of historical circumstances, the company became as garage of Cabinet of Ministers and later (after declaration of independence) it was reorganized into AB Autoukis.
AB Autoukis has serviced and services high ranking persons politicians in the Republic of Lithuania and guests (e.g. pope Jonas Paulius II, royal persons - Prince Charles of Great Britain, Queen Margareth of Denmark etc.).
